1. Safety – General Policy |
To provide safe working conditions and to maintain a healthy working environment for all employees and facilities of National MarineServices. In this regard, it is important that the policies and procedures developed by National MarineServices are adhered to. By adhering to these policies and procedures a safe and efficient operating conditions will be in place to safeguard employees and facilities. National MarineServices will not knowingly permit unsafe conditions to exist, nor will it permit employees to indulge in unsafe acts. Violations of National MarineServices rules and regulations will result in disciplinary action. National MarineServices believes that the safety of employees and facilities can best be ensured by meaningful programs. |
A. Employee Since the employee on the job is frequently more aware of unsafe conditions than anyone else, employees are encouraged to make recommendations, suggestions, and criticisms of unsafe conditions to their immediate supervisor so that they may be corrected.

2. Safety Meetings |
National MarineServices operates in accordance with international guidelines and as such encourages the employee’s involvement in safety meetings to be held quarterly. The management will specify procedures and actions to be taken in the event of fires, security and other emergencies. Decisions and recommendations will be communicated via the supervisors to the management with reference to the risk assessments and tool box talks that the supervisors hold weekly. |
3. Injuries |
All employees are required to immediately report all occupational illnesses or injuries to your supervisor, no matter how minor, and complete an occupational illness or injury form. National MarineServices strives to deliver the best possible standards of service to all of our clients in the marine and commercial diving industries. |
